Welcome to Frogwood (est. 2006), 100 acres of land in the quiet country town of Deans Marsh
in the foothills of the Otway Ranges in Victoria, Australia.
Previously a cattle property, Frogwood is now being transformed into a forest of
Great Trees of the World. 140 species of trees have been selected from throughout the world. Each tree species has been selected either for its beauty, its usefulness to humanity, its spiritual/symbolic meaning or a combination of these reasons.
Most of the tree species will be planted in groves rather than as single specimens,
showing the tree in a more natural way, and also creating a seed bank for future generations.
